3K - $46K a year Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring a PScheduler/Insurance Verification Representative - Full Time Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents.
The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011.
Sentara RMH features the RMH Hahn Cancer Center, a state of the art center equipped with the latest cancer fighting technologies available in the nation.

Schedules procedures/Appointments for patients in a computerized scheduling system accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested, has been scheduled.
Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties.
Two of the four skill levels required:
1.
One year experience in healthcare environment or 2.
Completion of healthcare related certificate program 3.
One year experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician office 4.
Transferable skills (i.
e.
, 1 year or more in a call center, customer services, etc.
) High School Grad or Equivalent Customer Service 1 year Healthcare 1 year Insurance 1 year Medical Terminology 1 year Troubleshooting Communication Critical Thinking Microsoft Office Service Orientation Social Perceptiveness Speaking Technology/Computer Time Management Active Listening.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
