Sales associate duties and responsibilities include helping aid in the design and planning of water features, maintaining the gardens visual appearance in high standards, inventory control, and checking in orders.
You will work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, maintain the visual appearance of the water garden, and meet the store's sales goals.
Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions Restocking and minor inventory control Remain knowledgeable on products offered Build productive trust relationships with customers Suggest ways to improve sales (e.

planning marketing activities, changing the store's design) Willing to move into other areas of the business during our off season Skills Trustworthy Punctual Works well independently Experience in sales is preferred but the willingness and interest to learn is prominent Proficiency in English Solid communication and interpersonal skills A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus Job Type:

Are you willing to work outdoors? Are you willing to work every other weekend? Do you have any experience with fish ponds or aquariums? Your main job with us would be assisting customers at our water garden center.
That job of course requires basic knowledge about fish ponds, which we would teach you.
Is that something that interests you? In the winter time, the retail side of business slows down for us.
Because of that, you may be moved into other areas of the business such as helping manufacture concrete statues.
That job requires some heavy lifting.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
