30am Full-time or part-time Every other weekend, with schedules that include up to 4 weekdays per week Benefit eligibility:
FT = eligible for all benefits at date of hire PT = eligible for all benefits at date of hire (60
hours bi-weekly) PT = eligible for most benefits at date of hire (40
hours bi-weekly) The starting base rate of pay during the program is $13.
25 per hour.
A pay increase to $15.
50 will be provided once the Nurse Aide Certification is obtained in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Shift and weekend differentials are in addition to base pay.
Requirements:
Willingness to commit to 1-year of employment at VMRC upon completion of the Nurse Aide program.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the basics of the English language in order to understand and carry out oral and written assignments.
Perform the duties listed in the job description with limited supervision; be self-motivated.
Ability to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes.
Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
Act and intervene independently in routine and emergency situations.
Deal tactfully with residents, patients, families, and the general public in a positive, professional, and customer-first manner.
Must become certified as a Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Virginia within 120 days after the completion of the program.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
